Buy Squadron Sport, Wide Cornering, Amber, Pair LED (557815)

The Squadron Sport Wide Cornering Amber Pair LED (557815) is a compact yet powerful auxiliary

lighting kit designed by Baja Designshfor off-road, adventure, and utility driving applications where wide-area

visibility, dust penetration, and low-glare performance are essential. Built as part of the Squadron Sport

series, this pair is engineered to deliver reliable illumination in demanding environments while maintaining a

small, versatile footprint.

Each light in the kit produces approximately 3,150 lumens using a 4-LED configuration driven at around 26

watts per unit, giving a strong balance of brightness and efficiency for close to mid-range lighting needs. The

amber lens option is particularly useful for improving visibility in challenging conditions such as fog, dust, rain,

or snow, as amber wavelengths reduce glare and enhance contrast compared to standard white light.

The defining feature of this model is the Wide Cornering beam pattern

The defining feature of this model is the Wide Cornering beam pattern, which spreads light across a broad

~42-degree horizontal field. This design is optimized for near-field illumination, making it ideal for

cornering, trail navigation, reversing, and scene lighting around vehicles. Instead of focusing on long-distance

projection, it prioritizes peripheral visibility so drivers can clearly see obstacles close to the vehicle’s path.

Built for extreme durability, the lights use a hpowder-coated cast aluminum housing paired with a hard-

coated polycarbonate lens. Stainless steel hardware and a rugged mounting system ensure stability even in

high-vibration conditions such as off-road racing or heavy-duty work environments. The unit is also sealed to

high ingress protection standards (IP69K in many configurations), meaning it is resistant to dust, water, and high-pressure cleaning.

The kit typically includes two Squadron Sport lights, mounting brackets, and a plug-and-play wiring harness, making installation straightforward for trucks, SUVs, UTVs, and overland builds. The system is also designed for long service life, with LED longevity rated at nearly 50,000 hours.

Overall, the Squadron Sport 557815 Amber Wide Cornering Pair is a compact, rugged, and highly effective lighting solution for drivers who need strong side and near-field visibility rather than long-range spotlight performance.
