Returns & Exchange Policy
We stand by the quality of our parts and want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase.
1. Standard Return Window
You may return most new, unopened, and unused items sold by Modern Spares within 30 calendar days of the delivery date for a full refund of the product price, minus original shipping charges.
2. Return Eligibility Requirements
To be eligible for a return, all items must meet the following criteria:
Condition: Must be in original, brand-new condition, uninstalled, and free from any dirt, grease, or tool marks.
Packaging: Must be returned in the original manufacturer’s box or packaging, which must be intact and not defaced (e.g., do not write on the manufacturer's box).
Completeness: Must include all original components, instructions, and hardware.
3. Non-Returnable Items
Due to safety, cleanliness, or specific manufacturing standards, the following items are generally not eligible for return:
Electrical Components: E.g., sensors, relays, ECU modules (once packaging seal is broken).
Fluids/Chemicals: Oils, coolants, brake fluid (if opened).
Special Orders: Items explicitly marked as non-stock or custom-built.
Clearance/Final Sale Items.
4. How to Initiate a Return
Request an RMA: You must first obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number from Modern Spares Customer Support via email or phone. Returns sent without an RMA will be refused or delayed.
Packaging: Securely package the item(s) to prevent damage during transit. Write the assigned RMA Number clearly on the outside of the shipping box.
Shipment: You are responsible for the return shipping costs. We strongly recommend using a trackable and insured shipping method.
5. Refunds
Once the returned item is received and inspected by our warehouse (typically within 3–5 business days), we will process your refund. Funds will be credited back to the original form of payment within 7–10 business days after approval.
